n 1944, King Features and Farina Cereal teamed up to produce an amazing set of advertising premiums featuring famous comic strip characters. They have come to be known as "syroco" (after their manufacturer) figurines, and are now highly prized by collectors.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">So that's the style these figures are based on.
I've search the web and can't find any info on these "syrocos".......
Would love to see some.
